Angie joined the CFP family in 2007 and is an Art instructor with a background in entertainment design and feature animation that includes work on “Mulan” and “Lilo and Stitch” for Disney. Angie holds a BA in Theatre / Scenic and Lighting Design, and another BA in Fine Arts from the University of South Florida. Her diverse background in the arts allows her to assist students in finding their own personal passion for creativity.
Mrs. Najera was born and raised in Guatemala, Central America. She joined CFP in 2003 as a parent; Mrs. Najera has three wonderful children who all graduated from CFP. In 2006, she worked as a substitute teacher and in 2007 she became our Montessori Spanish teacher. Soon after, she joined the staff full-time as a Montessori Assistant and now is teaching Spanish to all grade levels.
Carlos began his education career as an English and Spanish Literature teacher in 1988, and has been coaching juvenile sports since 1984. After being involved in the management of several soccer clubs, he helped to launch a local academy which has produced several national youth team players. Since earning his BA from Amherst College, Carlos has taught all ages from preschool to college, and worked in his spare time as a professional artist.
Ansa has over 20 years of experience as a professional computer programmer and web designer. Her children have attended CFP since the age of 3, and she brought her award-winning photography skills to the CFP yearbook for several years prior to joining the teaching staff in 2017. Ansa is a South African native and skydiving enthusiast whose work has been featured in galleries internationally, and she advocates for the arts locally by instructing community groups such as the Orlando Camera Club.
