Our Campus

Central Florida Preparatory School’s Montessori, Elementary, Middle and High School Divisions are located on a single, 5-acre campus in Apopka, Florida.

Among other things, our facilities include 28 classrooms; two 1,100 sq. ft. STEM Labs; a culinary kitchen; agricultural garden; multi-media room; art studio; and 1-acre outdoor field with 2 playgrounds. Our campus houses 480 computers and campus-wide WiFi; 22 interactive whiteboards and interactive projectors.

CFP draws students from more than 10 zip codes across the greater Orlando area, including: Apopka, Winter Garden, Longwood, Altamonte Sprigs, Windermere, and Dr. Phillips.

We are looking for mission aligned students and families with a variety of backgrounds and talents who will be able to make significant contributions to the CFP community through their academic achievement, creative talents, athletic abilities, positive social behavior, and participation in the school’s programs.

Our admission process involves the review of school transcripts, a potential student interview for students in Grades 6 through 12, and a parent interview for all Montessori and Elementary school applicants. Admission Committee members use these varying aspects of the application to develop a complete picture of each applicant.

Our student to teacher ratio varies based on grade level. CFP prides itself on providing its students with plenty of personal attention. Our Montessori class sizes vary slightly, with two teachers and a class of no more than 24 students. Grade one has a maximum of 13 students per classroom. Grades two through five have a maximum of 15 students per classroom, with one primary teacher and one associate teacher. Our Middle School has a maximum of 17 students per class, while our High School has a maximum of 20 students per class.

Yes. All CFP students must wear the school uniform. Various options are available, but all students must dress in accordance with the uniform policy of the school. On occasion, the school has theme days where students can wear clothing in line with theme rather than their uniform. For example, on Big Red Day students are invited to wear clothing that is red in color. CFP uniforms are available through Pointer Printing.
CFP provides daily hot lunch service for purchase, prepared in our on-site culinary kitchen by our Chef staff. Our menu focuses on high-quality natural or organic local ingredients and offers options for various dietary restrictions.
Once you are admitted, the school will issue a Form I-20, which permits a student to attend Central Florida Prep until he or she graduates. If you are transferring from another school within the United States, you must contact the Admissions Department at CFP in order to complete a transfer Form I-20.

Yes. Central Florida Prep accepts the Family Empowerment Scholarships, which include Step Up For Students and A.A.A.

Families have the choice to participate in our bus service program during regular arrival and dismissal hours. CFP contracts with A-Plus Transportation to provide daily bus service. A-Plus School Transportation LLC is a privately owned and operated transportation company. Fees are $337/month per child round trip (sibling $270/mo)  or $250/month per child one way (sibling $200/mo), with a $50 enrollment fee per family.

A-Plus currently offers three convenient stops:

    • Winter Garden: St. Luke’s United Methodist Church @ 4851 S Apopka Vineland Road
    • Ocoee: 2960 Maguire Road
